I'd like to add though that corollary to prototyping is the usage of advanced measuring equipments like Faro arm (for sale in the market. Today, keen attention to details paved the way to better products. Sophisticated equipments aid in inspecting potential flaws that can hamper the value of the product.
Most large scale businesses already utilize the steps that you mentioned above. While some small scale businesses tend to combine some steps for a shorter period of production. Nonetheless, apparent in all business types is the attempt to arrive at a certain system of innovation. Production today, is not just a series of perpetuating the same product but a process of perfecting that same product to create new market trends.
