After 30 years being shown lame, racist, sexist, poorly xeroxed cartoons, I feel blessed to have someone who is both funny and realistic about the state of the industry and its spokespeople.
Another highly creative, Honest and Humorous rendering!
I may not speak for every soul, but I'll lay odds that the more times around the Printing Press those of us who follow your Blog have been, the more we appreciate your talents and the Grander our smiles!
The idea for this cartoon came from personal experience.
In the 1980s I set up a design/marketing studio inside a printshop. It effectively competed against the printshop's graphic designer and ad agency customers. They responded by saying that they would no longer print with us. I.e. why should we support a competitor with our print dollars. IMHO, printers who go into marketing must be prepared to lose some business for the same reasons.
